The contract included the design and manufacture of bespoke stainless steel 1.4301 material airlocks for use in sensitive production environments. The ground and brushed surface finish with a roughness of Ra 0.8 µm meets high hygiene requirements and facilitates cleaning. Internal hinges and doors with ESG glass ensure a durable and functional design. Depending on project requirements, mechanical or electronic locking systems and integrated ventilation can be implemented. The dimensions are defined on a project-specific basis and precisely adapted to the installation situation.
Special challenge
The challenge is to develop a solution that integrates precisely into existing cleanroom structures while simultaneously meeting the highest demands for hygiene, functionality, and operational safety.
Cooperation
The project was implemented in close consultation with the client. Requirements, installation situation, and technical details were defined jointly as early as the planning phase to develop an optimally tailored solution.
Result
The result is a bespoke stainless steel material airlock, which enables safe and hygienic material transfer between different cleanroom classes and can be reliably used in sensitive areas such as pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and industry.
