What is it about?
The architects behind Atelier Tau in Zurich are Anouk Schepens and Nicolas Würth. Morath was commissioned to realise a customised kitchen.
What exactly was the assignment?
Morath was responsible for the entire planning of the project. The kitchen, including the carcass, fronts, side panels, rear panels and Classica elements, was made from stainless steel. The components fit together harmoniously to form an overall design and thus support the architectural line. The stainless steel surfaces give the dream kitchen a fine, matt texture and thus a timelessly elegant look.
What was the particular challenge?
The surfaces not only had to be aesthetically impressive, but also perfectly finished - including precise hand sanding and brushing to create the typical Classica texture. Morath realised the entire kitchen project, including the installation of the appliances.
What was the result?
The result is a modern, elegant stainless steel kitchen whose calm, matt Classica surfaces give the room character, depth and a high-quality feel. The clients received a customised, long-lasting dream kitchen.
How did the cooperation go?
The collaboration with Atelier Tau was smooth and appreciative. The architects staged the kitchen elements in a stylish way.
