In co-operation with Orea
The aim was to design a kitchen with the signature style of Andreas Caminada and Orea. The result consists of a concrete carcass with integrated furniture and worktops made of brass or stainless steel. The materials could be selected individually.
The castle was the place for potential buyers to view the kitchen design for the first time - combined, of course, with an excellent meal.
Essentially, it was about realising the kitchen design by Andreas Caminada and Orea and following the joint idea down to the last detail. For example, the surface of the brass worktop, which rests on the concrete carcass, was treated with a hand whirl and browned, i.e. artificially aged.
The project combines the innovative strength of Andreas Caminada and Orea. Morath is delighted to have made its contribution to the realisation of the Caminada kitchen with the worktop. Andreas Caminada and Orea are marketing the project aggressively. A version of the Caminada kitchen is now on display in the Orea showroom in Zurich.
The cooperation with Morath was met with great appreciation for the detailed aesthetic realisation of the surfaces and the technical implementation of the overall design.
