Building envelope with vision - precisely planned, perfectly realised

Our tinsmith and flat roof specialists have many years of experience in the planning and execution of all aspects of the building envelope. You benefit from this throughout the entire course of the project - whether as a private client, public authority, architect or investor.

As your central point of contact, we support you from the initial consultation through to planning and implementation and coordinate all interfaces if required. If it makes sense, we can also support you with clarifications regarding subsidies and authorisations.

Nothing should be left to chance when choosing specialists. We think holistically and pay attention to every detail - from design and choice of materials to clean, professional execution. We will be happy to advise you personally and develop the right solution for your project together.

Condition analyses &
Expertise

Sound basis for decision-making
Our experts prepare condition analyses and technical assessments for roofs and the associated components. The range of services includes visual inspections, visual and detailed inspections of structures and - where necessary - soundings to assess the layered structures and connections. We document defects, wear and tear and risks in a comprehensible manner and use this to develop a clear basis for further detailed planning and the appropriate measures. The aim is to present the structural condition in a comprehensible manner and to provide a sound basis for planning and execution decisions.

Refurbishment and modernisation concepts

Sustainable solutions for existing buildings
Renovations in existing buildings require more than just looking at individual trades. This is why concepts are not only developed from the perspective of tinsmithing and flat roofs, but also taking into account all relevant interfaces relating to the roof and building envelope. The analysis of the current condition, the derivation of suitable measures and the coordination of materials, constructions and implementation details are carried out with a view to a clean, realisable overall solution. Depending on the project, other specialist partners are specifically involved - for example, scaffolding, timber construction, façade construction, building services or other specialists. This results in clear responsibilities, coordinated processes and solutions that are technically coherent, durable and economically viable. The aim is a sustainable refurbishment that respects the existing building and at the same time realistically takes into account its use, architecture and budget.

Detailed and implementation planning (SIA)

Precision from planning to realisation
Accurate detailed and implementation planning is the basis for professional realisation - especially when it comes to connections, penetrations and complex transitions in the areas of tinsmithing and flat roofs. The planning is consistently based on the relevant SIA standards and recognised rules of technology. This results in solutions that not only work on paper, but can also be reliably realised on the construction site. The range of services includes the development of detailed connections, construction structures and material definitions as well as the coordination of interfaces with neighbouring trades. In addition, we advise clients, architects and specialist planners on design issues, decisions on variants and technically feasible execution. The aim is clear, realisable planning that supports quality, schedule and cost certainty - and prevents surprises later on during execution.

Interface
Coordination

Coordinated down to the last detail
When renovating and remodelling, most problems arise at the transitions: Connections, penetrations, built-in parts, drainage and finishes must fit together structurally. This is precisely where we ensure clarity - with defined details, harmonised solutions and a clean sequence of execution. The aim is for everyone involved to work according to the same plan and for the critical points on the construction site to be resolved without improvisation - technically tight, technically clean and durable.

Tenders &
Devaluation

Precisely formulated, clearly calculable
Clear invitations to tender are the basis for comparable offers and a clean award. We draw up service specifications and schedules on a neutral NPK basis (CRB) and provide the data exchange in the CRBX format secure. The range of services includes the structured definition of service items, quantities and execution requirements - harmonised with the work and detailed planning as well as the project-specific boundary conditions. We pay particular attention to clear formulations, clear delimitations and complete service descriptions so that the scope of services is unambiguous and scope for interpretation is minimised. The aim is a transparent, comprehensible service description that makes tenders truly comparable, simplifies the awarding of contracts and supports implementation on the construction site - including clear interfaces and clear quality requirements.

Lightning protection

Standardised integration
Lightning protection protects people, buildings and technology from the consequences of a lightning strike. External lightning protection protects the building from direct lightning strikes by absorbing lightning currents in a controlled manner and discharging them safely to earth. This typically includes air-termination systems, down conductors and the connection to the earthing system. Especially in the roof and façade area, professional planning and implementation is crucial to ensure that the protection is effective and that no weak points are created in the building envelope. We only plan and realise external lightning protection and integrate it neatly into the roof structure - coordinated with the roof structure, connections, penetrations, built-in parts and the routing of the down conductors along the façade. The aim is reliable, standard-compliant lightning protection that protects the building and blends unobtrusively and technically correctly into the roof and façade.
